Thanks for visiting my web site. My dream of becoming a published author has become a reality, with four books forthcoming from Simon and Schuster in the US!
I’m happy to announce that the US rights for The Palmyra Impact and The Adamas Blueprint have been acquired by editor Abby Zidle for the Pocket Books imprint of Simon and Schuster from my US agent Irene Goodman of the Irene Goodman Agency. Both books will be published as mass market paperback originals. The Palmyra Impact and The Adamas Blueprint were originally available as Amazon Kindle e-books, and they have been taken down from Amazon while Pocket Books prepares them for re-release. No release date has been set yet, and the titles of the books may change. We’re still negotiating foreign rights. I’ll let you know when I have more information.
The following is the news release from Simon and Schuster about the acquisition of The Ark:
THE ARK by Boyd Morrison and a sequel were acquired by Editor Sulay Hernandez for the Touchstone imprint of Simon and Schuster in a pre-empt from Irene Goodman of the Irene Goodman Agency. THE ARK is a thriller centered on a modern-day, science-based, reinterpretation of the biblical story of Noah where a combat engineer and an archeologist desperately search for the true relic of Noah’s ark to uncover the secret hidden inside before it is used to wipe out civilization as it did in Biblical times. The book was originally available only in e-book format where it grabbed the #1 spot on Kindle for e-book sales in the genre. Boyd is a PhD in industrial engineering and a former employee of both NASA and Microsoft. THE ARK will be published in Spring 2010.
Touchstone acquired North American, Canada, Open Market (Except India), Audio and 1st Serial. Danny Baror of Baror International Inc. is handling World Rights. Twelve countries, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Holland, Denmark, Slovenia, Israel, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, Bulgaria, and Indonesia have been sold to date. The author has already received blurbs from Douglas Preston and James Rollins.
I couldn’t have done it without the people who’ve already read my books and have been so supportive. I thank all of you for helping me achieve my dream. I look forward to the challenge of creating more adventures for years to come.
Here’s a video I shot while visiting Simon and Schuster.
